This document was produced by The Communication Trust as part of the National Year of Communication in 2011. It is a great read for anybody who spends time with children and young people. You can access the document here.

Universally Speaking

The Communication Trust produced these guides for practitioners. There are three age ranges;

  • Birth to five years
  • Five to 11 years
  • 11 to 18 years

All three booklets can be found on the Speech and Language UK website (formally known as ICAN)

COMMUNICATION IN SCHOOLS

The Communication Trust produced 'The Communication Commitment' to ensure that all pupils communicate to the best of their ability by developing a whole-school approach to communication. The resource can be downloaded on the Speech and Language UK website.
